Kindle Edition of LOS is finally here!

It has taken a bit of effort, but the Kindle edition of "The Lord of Shadows" is finally available! www.amazon.com/dp/B00G1RR0EA

I imagine that the process for all of these things will be much faster with "The Depth of Shadow", as I will actually know what I am doing.

I would also like to take a moment to introduce a side project that I have been working on a little in my free time, between LOS and actual work. (I know, I get time off and what do I use it for? more work! lol) I am going to simply refer to this as my Beauty and the Beast project. As most of you can probably tell, I have a bit of a soft spot for pretty girls and monsters, and this has always been one of my favorite stories. In case you're wondering, no, LOS was not actually based on anything Beauty and the Beast related. The opposite is true actually, I love the story because of the parallels it has with my own. I wasn't always attached to Beauty and the Beast, not until I started having my weirdo dreams that lead to LOS. I found a new love for the story, and I have read many, many versions, and it remains one of my favored Disney films, right along side The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty.

However, as much as I love the stories, especially the original version and the numerous retellings that are highly based on that, and as much as i know this fairy tale has just been done to DEATH, with a little encouragement from my friends, I figured why the hell not. There have always been a few discrepancies about Beauty and the Beast that, as much as I love the story, always bugged me. Things that seemed to almost fly in the face of the moral that was trying to be told. Disney, oddly enough, in my own opinion has the worst ones of all, not to mention all of the criticisms towards Beast considering Stockholm syndrome and other nasty, mental disturbances that seem to underplay the entire point of the story. So I'd like to make my own version, and I would also like to go about it in a slightly different way. I have no idea what this project will turn into. It may be a short story, a novella, or an entire novel. Perhaps even the start of a small compilation of stories retold from my perspective, or maybe even someone else's? No idea. But keep a look out for theme related art, and probably some chapters as well. It is of course going to remain on the back burner until I get DOS out, but fear not, I have a nice head start on the third book, so there will be more time for fun early next year.

Again I would also like to ask anyone who has read the book, please leave a review and/or rating on any of the following sites:

These reviews are crucial to helping people who don't follow me in social media get a better idea of the book, and just a few reviews so far has really made a difference!

Also the giveaway is still going on, so if you haven't signed up and live in the US there is still time to enter!

And don't forget to follow me on my new stinky tumblr account, where I have started posting sketches and other in progress work that I have not been putting up here. link in footer.
